So it has been quite a long time since I actually wrote. No good reason really…things have been so busy. One other thing happened – I found out about some people reading this blog and I was surprised. I started to write a couple of times, but I realized I was censoring myself, and I’m not sure why. I’m over it now 🙂 —- There’s a lot of emphasis in.. Read More
New family pictures. Love.
Since it’s Mother’s Day, and the girls are still too small to understand what that means, papa takes over the burden of giving me a special day. And he did today! Starting the morning with a peach mimosa and veggie omelette was fantastic. He also had gifts and homemade card. My love languages include acts of service, so he spent the whole rest of the day loving me in the.. Read More
Rafael had the fun idea to paint the backside of our counter with chalkboard paint. Art in the house!
Spring has sprung, which also means that home improvements have begun! Rafael heard about a warehouse sale for construction parts so.. Read More
O Christmas Cards; what should I do with you? I love receiving them…but then what? We display them for the holiday season, but leaving them up all year conflicts with the contemporary/minimalist design vision we (read: Rafa) has for our home. Do I throw them in a box? Or into the garbage?! No! I had a great idea for a craft! (GASP! Yes! I really did a craft. If you.. Read More
We have been following the Daniel Plan since a couple of weeks into the new year and have been loving the transformation in many areas of our life. I have lost more than 20 pounds and Rafa has lost nearly that amount. Even better is that we are experiencing so much health! I was able to stop taking a digestive medication and Rafa got a great report at the doctor.. Read More
