The other day, one of my sisters asked me, “How are you?”
I honestly didn’t have an answer. It feels like we’ve been on a crazy rollercoaster of emotions and experiences, I hadn’t stopped to think about how I felt. I have been moving, working, doing – whatever needs to be done. House stuff, hospital stuff, family stuff…I have just been focusing on each task on its own without taking a glimpse at the length of the list.
But that is why God has put such amazing people in my (our) life. People who know the right questions to ask and who seem to know what I need before I even know I need it. My girls have been so important to me, but especially this week. My sisters spent so much time in prayer for me, I was embarrassed. I was pretty much ashamed that they spent so much time talking about/with me. They were so gracious and loving and pretty much the most amazing people I could ask for.
Then, my check card number stolen. Someone stole my information and charged $1,500 (to Walmart ((shiver)) of all places). The Wells Fargo team was all over it and I filed my fraudulent reports.
Rafa and I got to go to a “pancake blessing” aka a couple’s baby shower for a friend who calls her not-yet-born baby boy “pancake.” It was fun to eat pancakes with this type of decoration –
