Target stock went over $50 per share for the first time in a long time. Good news for our retirement, since the majority of our worth is in the Target 401(k) plan.
We’ll be talking about money and expectations in Fit To Be Tied (our pre-marital counseling class) this week. We already know that we are opposite when it comes to clothes/shoe shopping – Rafa spends money for quality, while I prefer to spend on quantity – but we’ll have to dig a little deeper than that. I peeked at the lesson and it comes out and says that money can be a heart matter, as in “where your treasure is, there your heart will be also” (Matt. 6:21). I would like to think that the only treasure we care about is riches in heaven… but I know that isn’t always the case.
